2. Design Philosophy

Wheelbase-Inspired Contact Length

The FORTY-AGGRESSIVE models
(S) 38cm / (M) 40cm / (L) 42cm

feature a ground contact length of approximately 27.5–31.5cm.

This dimension was intentionally designed to be similar to the wheelbase of aggressive inline skates.

Although Eunbyul and Narak were not long-time aggressive inline riders,
they were deeply inspired by:

• The short turning radius

• Instant edge-to-edge transitions

• Balance-centered riding style

Traditional skis create long carving arcs.

FORTY-AGGRESSIVE was engineered to create something different —
tighter rhythm, quicker response, and compact control.

By adopting a contact length similar to aggressive inline skates,
we achieved:

• Faster edge response

• Agile, compact movement

• Intuitive balance control

• Stylish and expressive trick capability

Even riders without aggressive inline experience can adapt quickly,
thanks to the centered balance structure.

This is one of the core design philosophies behind FORTY Ski.

S (38cm) – Recommended for boot size up to 245mm
M (40cm) – Recommended for boot size 245mm–285mm
L (42cm) – Recommended for boot size 290mm and above

Sizing is based on ski boot sole length (mm).
